Osteopathy
Morning stiffness in the tendon — what Steve Hall assesses, and why complete rest is rarely the whole plan.

A thicker, grumpy tendon that hates the first steps and hills. Training spikes are the usual villain. A sudden pop and an inability to push off is a rupture until proven otherwise.
I check calf capacity, ankle stiffness and lumbar/hip contribution. Hands-on care can ease neighbouring joints. Tendon loading is physio territory and we will say so.
Suspected rupture: same-day medical care. Do not book a relaxing massage instead.
