Symptoms and what they can mean

Waking to shake the hand, pins and needles in thumb, index and middle fingers, dropping cups. Pregnancy and hypothyroidism sit in the history more often than people think.

What we can do in clinic

Red flags and when to see your GP

Wasting of the thumb muscles, constant numbness, or diabetes with progressing symptoms needs medical review. Surgery exists for a reason in selected cases.
