Osteopathy
Osteopathy cannot straighten a structural curve. Steve Hall on comfort, movement and when a child needs a specialist.

Adults with a known curve often come for the secondary stiffness and fatigue, not a cosmetic correction. Adolescents with a rapidly changing shape, uneven shoulders, or a family history need proper screening.
I can help neighbouring joints move and reduce muscle fatigue. I will not sell a course that “cures scoliosis”. That claim would be dishonest.
A child with a progressing curve belongs with a GP and, if needed, a spinal service. Night pain or neurological signs are not a posture problem.
This article is general information for people considering care at Health at Hart in Hartley Wintney. It is not a diagnosis, a prescription, or a promise of outcome. If you have sudden, severe or unexplained symptoms — including chest pain, unexplained weight loss, night pain, bowel or bladder changes, or a new neurological problem — seek urgent medical advice (NHS 111 or 999). UK osteopaths are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council. Counsellors named here are BACP-registered where stated. Always check with your GP or insurer if you are unsure whether a treatment is appropriate for you.
