Eat something light
Do not arrive starving or after a double espresso if you can help it. Wear clothes that allow access to arms and lower legs. You can stay partly dressed — we work around dignity.
The consultation is the treatment’s foundation
Tongue and pulse are part of a Chinese medicine exam for some practitioners; I will explain what I am looking at. Western medical history still matters: medicines, surgeries, pregnancy, mental health.
