Symptoms and what they can mean

Bruising, swelling, a sense it will go on gravel. The ligaments need protection then load. Complete rest produces a stiff, timid ankle.

What we can do in clinic

Once fracture is excluded, we restore range, then balance, then change of direction if you play sport. Taping is a tool, not a lifestyle.

Red flags and when to see your GP

Cannot take four steps, bone tenderness in the classic spots — x-ray pathway, not guesswork.
