A near-miss on a kerb, a fear of the high street, a shortened walk. Balance is a skill with strength, sensation, vision and confidence inside it.
We practise standing tasks that look too simple and matter a lot. I will ask about glasses, slippers and dizziness. Steve may ease the stiffness that makes turning slow.
Blackouts, new medicines, or a head injury on anticoagulants — GP or A&E. I do not adjust blood pressure tablets.
