Who am I becoming — Gia Bird on a confidential space for questions of self, without an agenda from the internet.

A name, a crowd, a body, a future that will not sit still. Family who want a simple answer. Online spaces that offer certainty with a side of fear.
Therapy is a place to think, not a place I steer toward a slogan. Confidentiality and safeguarding are explained in language that makes sense. Parents may be involved depending on age and risk — I will be transparent about that.
Distress that includes not being safe, or medical questions about bodies, belong with appropriate clinical services as well as talking therapy.
