You already hurt. The waiting list is long. Doing nothing until the operation date is how deconditioning wins.
We train what you can: the other leg, the arms for crutches, walking tolerance. I will not sabotage a surgeon’s restrictions. I will make the weeks after less of a cliff.
Pre-op medical questions — bloods, medicines, infection — stay with the hospital team.
