You took three weeks off. You then ran your old Tuesday loop. The tendon wrote a complaint.

What we can do in clinic

Walk-run, then time, then intensity. Strength twice a week. I write it down because memory is optimistic.

Red flags and when to see your GP

Chest pain on running, or an unexplained collapse — stop and get medical help, do not “ease back in”.
