Counselling

Counselling when you feel stuck

What this can look like

A life that looks fine from the high street. A private sense of fog. Decisions that never complete. Envy of people who can want things.

How counselling can help

You do not need a crisis to come. Stuckness is a presentation. We get curious about what the fog is protecting, and what a slightly braver week would look like. The free introductory call is for this exact doubt: “is this enough to book”.

When it is more than counselling

If the stuckness is a depression that has taken your appetite, your sleep and your will, that is medical as well as therapeutic.

This article is general information for people considering care at Health at Hart in Hartley Wintney. It is not a diagnosis, a prescription, or a promise of outcome. If you have sudden, severe or unexplained symptoms — including chest pain, unexplained weight loss, night pain, bowel or bladder changes, or a new neurological problem — seek urgent medical advice (NHS 111 or 999). UK osteopaths are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council. Counsellors named here are BACP-registered where stated. Always check with your GP or insurer if you are unsure whether a treatment is appropriate for you.
